Why it exists

Poker is a game of incomplete information. The math does not have to be. Every hand at the table is a probability problem, and the players who feel like naturals are mostly people who have internalized answers the rest of us are still counting outs for.

The tools for closing that gap were either black boxes or homework. A solver hands you a decision with the reasoning sealed inside, and a strategy book hands you the reasoning with nothing to push on. Neither is how anyone actually learns to count.

This is the lab we wanted instead: exact equity for any hand and board, draw odds that show why the number is the number, range against range, a combinatorics lab, and timed drills that turn the arithmetic into instinct. The same itch behind Calcaholic, pointed at fifty-two cards.

What we decided

• Show the why, not just the number

  Every calculator explains where its answer comes from, because a probability you cannot derive is a probability you will not trust at the table. The number is the start of the page, not the end of it.

• Not a gambling site, and say so

  No odds on games, no picks, no bookmaker in sight. It is an education site about probability that happens to use cards, and keeping that line clean shaped what we would and would not build.

• Drills, because knowing is not the same as knowing in time

  The table gives you seconds, not a calculator. Timed drills on outs, odds and equity are scored on accuracy and speed together, because the second one is the skill that actually gets used.
