Why it exists

Nobody has ever answered "where do you want to eat" on the first attempt. The question goes round the table, everyone defers to everyone else, and twenty minutes later you are still standing in the kitchen.

Plenty of spinners already solve the mechanics of that. None of them solved the mood. They look like form controls, and a form control cannot make a decision feel like an event.

We grew up on game shows, where the wheel was always bigger than the prize and the wait was the whole thing. That is the part everyone else left out, so this one is built to be fun to lose.

What we decided

  The wheel is not decoration on top of a random number. The wait is what turns a decision into an event instead of a chore, so the wait is where the work went.

  Your options, your labels, your colors. A picker with fixed choices is just a list, and nobody needs another list.
